Robert De Niro has called Donald Trump a 'white supremacist' and compared him to Adolf Hitler in his latest tirade against the President.
The Hollywood star said dictators such as Hitler and Benito Mussolini had 'looked funny' when they first came to power.
Asked by the Guardian if President Trump was a white supremacist, De Niro answered: 'Yes.'
The 75-year-old, who was one of numerous Trump critics to be sent a pipe bomb last year, also branded the President a fascist, racist, buffoon and con artist.

Asked whether Trump was a fascist, he said: 'I guess that's what it leads to. If he had his way, we'd wind up in a very bad state in this country.
'I mean, the way I understand it, they laughed at Hitler. They all look funny. Hitler looked funny, Mussolini looked funny and other dictators and despots look funny.
'What bothers me is that there will be people in the future who see him as an example and they'll be affected in some way, but they'll be a lot smarter and do more damage as a despot.'
The actor said Trump was 'all smoke and mirrors' and a 'scam artist', saying he himself felt 'upset about what's going on'.
De Niro also rejected calls from some Trump critics to respond to the President's tone with a more civil approach.
He said Trump's opponents had to 'fight fire with fire', saying: 'You can't be so gentlemanly all the time'.
Trump has previously taken aim at De Niro on Twitter after the actor launched an expletive-laden rant against him last year.
The President said last June: 'Robert De Niro, a very Low IQ individual, has received too many shots to the head by real boxers in movies. I watched him last night and truly believe he may be ''punch-drunk''.
'I guess he doesn't realize the economy is the best it's ever been with employment being at an all time high, and many companies pouring back into our country. Wake up Punchy!'
Police in Manhattan intercepted a package addressed to De Niro last October which they said was similar to pipe bombs sent to prominent Democrats.
He responded with a call for people to vote in the midterms, saying 'there's something more powerful than bombs, and that's your vote'.
The two-time Oscar winner counts hit films such as Raging Bull, Goodfellas, The Godfather Part II and The Untouchables among the highlights of his career.
Before the Trump presidency, he had a reputation as being a man of few words off-screen.
