Coronavirus has now turned into a full-blown pandemic with almost 473K cases globally, 69K of which reside in the US. New York state accounts for roughly 7% of the global cases. Overloaded hospitals, shortage of supplies, and lack of protective equipment are making the crisis worse.
While doctors experience the chaos first-hand, people are taking shelter at home with little grasp of what’s happening inside the ER. But thanks to ER doctor Craig Spencer, who shared a day in his life in the NYP hospital, we’re now able to find that out. The series of tweets soon went viral with 130K likes and counting.
Unfortunately, the view is grim. Craig who’s on duty round the clock, warns that it’s too late to stop the outbreak. And being an Ebola virus survivor, he knows what he is saying.
