The NYPD released these surveillance stills of the assailant. They are offering a $2,500 reward for any information that might lead to her arrest
She strolls up to the counter before taking out a gun and firing several shots at the stunned man working the till.
He manages to duck for cover beneath the cash register, before the woman walks out of the store.
She stops at the door before she turns around and fires a final shot in the man's direction. Police say she fled the scene in a grey sedan.
The bodega employee says he has no idea who the woman is, and she was not provoked before brandishing the weapon.
Police sources told The New York Post that the woman did not exchange any words with the man and she did not steal any items from the store.

The NYPD is struggling to control a surge in gun violence, which has been steadily increasing since last summer.
In the first two months of 2021, there were 77 reported shooting incidents across the city, compared to just 44 in the same two-month period the year before.
That represents a shocking 75 percent increase.
NYPD Commissioner Dermot Shea told reporters that the city is 'emerging from one of its most challenging period'.
'The men and women of the NYPD are resilient and up to the challenge before us, he stated.
'Not only are they going in harm’s way to drive down violence like never before, they are also connecting with the communities they serve in innovative, impactful ways.”
