October 2017 was the 100th year anniversary of the Miracle at Fatima.

In the spring and summer of 1916, nine-year-old Lúcia Santos and her cousins Jacinta and Francisco Marto were herding sheep at the Cova da Iria near their home village of Aljustrel in the parish of Fátima, Portugal. They later said they were visited three times by an apparition of an angel. They said the angel, who identified himself as the “Angel of Peace” and “Angel of Portugal”, taught them prayers.
On 13 May 1917, the children reported seeing a woman “brighter than the sun, shedding rays of light clearer and stronger than a crystal goblet filled with the most sparkling water and pierced by the burning rays of the sun.” The woman wore a white mantle edged with gold and held a rosary in her hand. She asked them to devote themselves to the Holy Trinity and to pray “the Rosary every day, to bring peace to the world and an end to the war”. World War I ended in November 1918.
The woman visited the children several times and told them to prepare for a miracle for the last of her apparitions on October 13th.
Over 70,000 people gathered in the rain on October 13, 1917 to witness the Miracle of Fatima.
The three children who originally claimed to have seen Our Lady of Fátima reported seeing a panorama of visions during the event, including those of Jesus, Our Lady of Sorrows, Our Lady of Mount Carmel, and of Saint Joseph blessing the people. According to accounts, after a period of rain, the dark clouds broke and the sun appeared as an opaque, spinning disc in the sky. It was said to be significantly duller than normal, and to cast multicolored lights across the landscape, the people, and the surrounding clouds. The sun was then reported to have careened towards the earth before zig-zagging back to its normal position.Witnesses reported that their previously wet clothes became “suddenly and completely dry, as well as the wet and muddy ground that had been previously soaked because of the rain that had been falling”.
The miracle of Fatima was a century ago.
This past weekend Pope Francis fudged the request of Our Lady of Fatima.
John-Henry Westen at Lifesite News reported:
The requests of Our Lady of Fatima for the consecration of Russia were very specific. In at least eight attempts over the last nearly 100 years, Popes have failed to do it as she explicitly requested. And for that very reason, the promised full conversion of Russia and world peace were not granted to the world.
The best opportunity for the consecration of Russia has presented itself now, with the Bishops of Ukraine begging the Pope for the consecration of Russia as Our Lady requested while their own nation is under the attack by Russia. However, this Sunday, Pope Francis indicated he may not do the consecration as heaven requested.
The consequences could be catastrophic for the world. Our Lady warned if the consecration were not done, “various nations will be annihilated.”
On Sunday, Pope Francis said he will consecrate “humanity” to the Immaculate Heart. He said, “I invite every community and all the faithful to unite with me on Friday, March 25, the Solemnity of the Annunciation, to the Solemn Act of Consecration of humanity, especially Russia and Ukraine, to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, so that she, the Queen of Peace, may help us obtain peace.”
I just spoke with one of the world’s foremost experts on Fatima — lawyer and author John Salza, who has penned two books on Fatima. In 2013, Salza published “The Consecration of Russia – How Seven Popes Failed to Heed Heaven’s Command and Brought Turmoil to the Church and the World,” in which he details the failure of more than eight attempts by various popes to get the consecration of Russia right.
Even though heaven’s request – given to Sr. Lucia in 1929 — was fairly simple, it has yet to be done properly. Our Lady said, “The moment has come in which God asks of the Holy Father to make, and to order that in union with him and at the same time, all the bishops of the world make the consecration of Russia to My Immaculate Heart, promising to convert it because of this day of prayer and worldwide reparation.”
Salza notes in his book that various consecrations have been done but only one mentioning Russia specifically and that one did not have all the bishops of the world join in. The others failed to mention Russia specifically.
