Republican Rep. Wesley Hunt of Texas absolutely eviscerated transgender advocates who think it's all right to allow biological males who identify as female strip down in locker rooms in front of biological females.

What are the details?

Hunt spoke Thursday during a House Judiciary subcommittee hearing on "The Dangers and Due Process Violations of ‘Gender-Affirming Care' for Children."

One individual offering testimony was Paula Scanlan, a former member of the University of Pennsylvania women's swim team who was forced to share a locker room with transgender female Lia Thomas.

Here's some of Scanlan's written testimony:

My teammates and I were forced to undress in the presence of Lia, a six-feet four-inch tall biological man fully-intact with male genitalia, 18 times per week. Some girls opted to change in bathroom stalls and others used the family bathroom to avoid this. When we tried to voice our concern to the Athletic Department, we were told that Lia swimming and being in our locker room was non-negotiable and we were offered psychological services to attempt to re-educate us to become comfortable with the idea of undressing in front of a male.

To sum up the university's response: we, the women, were the problem, not the victims. We were expected to conform—to move over and shut up. Our feelings didn’t matter. The university was gaslighting and fear-mongering women to validate the feelings and identity of a male.

Hunt backed Scanlan's testimony and tore apart those who ignore the issue of biological males who identify as female sharing locker rooms with biological females.

"Ms. Scanlan, my daughters are gonna watch this because you have become their new hero, and I can assure you that my four-year-old and my two-year-old daughters will not change in front of biological men! This is ridiculous!" Hunt hollered. "I don't care what party what you're apart of. If you think that we're all equal and the same biologically, you've literally lost your mind! And when my two daughters work hard in a sport, work hard in their craft, to be the best that they can be amongst other women, they will compete against other women. I owe Victoria and Olivia — and every other young lady in this country — that! If you think I'm wrong, I am not the problem! I can assure you."

Leftist lawmaker blasts Republicans

Democrat U.S. Rep. Jerry Nadler of New York spoke before Hunt at the beginning of the hearing and, as you might expect, blasted Republicans.

"Today's hearing is an all-time low for the Republican majority," Nadler said. "In my three decades in Congress, I have taken part in plenty of hearings where I did not agree with the choice of topic, to say the least. But I am absolutely disgusted at the Republican majority's bullying, bigoted framing of an issue that would otherwise be worthy of serious discussion. What we are witnessing today is nothing less than a taxpayer-funded platform for congressional Republicans to bully transgender kids who are already some of the most vulnerable members of our community ..."
