J.D. Vance: Kamala’s vision for America includes OPEN BORDERS and CLOSED FACTORIES

Sen. J.D. Vance of Ohio, the running mate of former President Donald Trump, has warned that Vice President Kamala Harris' globalist vision for the United States involves opening borders and closing factories.

During a rally in Henderson, Nevada, on July 30, Vance accused Harris of trying to please the Democratic Party's top donors, including Wall Street billionaires and multinational corporation executives, through her regressive policy proposals.

"Kamala Harris’s vision for America is open borders and closed factories," Vance said. "It's bigger government and smaller family bank accounts. It’s widespread war while we’re left praying for peace. She voted to preserve NAFTA, the very trade deal that sent American jobs to Mexico and turned American dreams into nightmares. I want the American dream as a goal for our children."

Moreover, Vance claimed that Harris would only continue serving corporate special interests if elected president. Additionally, Vance stated that Harris would support multinational corporations with their job-killing free trade deals and cheap foreign labor for legal immigrants, visa holders and illegal aliens. All this, while native-born working- and middle-class Americans continue to compete against them.

"For decades, politicians in Washington have sold out our country. When multinational corporations called their offices, they traded American jobs for campaign cash. Now, they’d never admit that of course... they'd brag about trade deals and promise cheaper consumer products. They called it 'globalization,' and that's what it was: American jobs went to some other part of the globe. And if it’s up to Kamala Harris, it will keep happening," Vance said.

Democratic megadonors really want Harris to favor their agenda

Several reports have supported Vance's claims against Harris, as powerful billionaire donors from Silicon Valley to Wall Street continue donating for her presidential bid.

"Harris is a Wall Street favorite with relationships there [Joe] Biden never really had, and they’re all in," Semafor Editor-in-Chief Ben Smith wrote on X.

For instance, prominent billionaire donors like George and Alex Soros swiftly endorsed Harris after President Joe Biden dropped out of the race and endorsed her as the next Democratic nominee.

Other prominent backers who supported Harris include LinkedIn co-founder and executive chairman Reid Hoffman, Centerview Partners co-founder Blair Effron, investment giant Blackstone's president and COO Jonathan Gray, CEO of asset management giant Lazard Peter Orszag, litigator Brad Karp, investment banker Roger Altman of Evercore and billionaire financier Marc Lasry, CEO of Avenue Capital.

Organizations also steer large donations to voice their support for Harris. Emily’s List, known for supporting female candidates who advocate for abortion rights, immediately endorsed Harris. The same goes with Way to Win, another significant donor group with many Harris supporters.

In a Wisconsin rally on July 30, Harris tried to present herself as a middle-class defender against billionaires, multinational corporations and big insurance companies.

However, Hoffman recently admitted that he wants Harris to end tariffs on imports and fire Federal Trade Commission Chair Lina Khan in exchange for his multimillion-dollar donations to the Harris campaign.
