A recent Rasmussen poll has revealed that a majority of Americans want outgoing President Joe Biden to resign immediately. The poll showed that 52 percent of Americans believe Biden is not capable of finishing his term and needs to go now, even though that would mean Vice President Kamala Harris would take over the presidency.

The poll also found that 76 percent of likely voters approve of Biden quitting from seeking another term, with just 18 percent of voters not approving of the decision that Biden drop out of the race.

The survey also asked likely voters about their views of the Biden presidency.

Respondents were asked, "Will Joe Biden be remembered by most Americans as a great president, a good president, a bad president, or the worst president ever?"

The most popular response was "the worst president ever," with 29 percent picking this option. An additional 21 percent said he would be remembered as a bad president, meaning half of the respondents view his presidency as one of the worst in history.

Responses on the quality of Biden's presidency fell mostly along party lines, with 79 percent of Democrats believing Biden will be remembered as a great or good president and 52 percent of Republicans believing he will be remembered as the worst president ever. Thirty percent of independent voters agreed with the Republicans.

The poll showed strong bipartisan support for Biden dropping out among Democrats (84 percent), Republicans (74 percent) and independents (72 percent).

In the question of Biden's immediate resignation, results varied by partisan inclination. Seventy-three percent of Republicans and 56 percent of independents supported Biden's immediate resignation. By comparison, just 30 percent of Democrats approved.

Voters worried about election cheating

Meanwhile, a recent poll conducted by The Heartland Institute and Rasmussen Reports revealed that more than 60 percent of likely voters, both nationally and in the battleground states, are worried that cheating will affect the outcome of the 2024 presidential election.

Particularly, 62 percent of likely voters throughout the country have expressed concerns about election integrity, with 37 percent stating they are very concerned and 25 percent somewhat concerned.

About 62 percent of voters in swing states Arizona, Nevada, Georgia, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and Michigan also believe the 2024 election will be ruined by election fraud, with 38 percent very concerned and 24 percent somewhat concerned.

This latest poll builds on recent polls – from April 2024 and December 2023 – that asked similar questions. Those previous polls both showed how Americans' confidence in the country's elections being free and fair is declining.

But the mainstream media continues to ignore these concerns.

Worse, after the controversial 2020 presidential election, the vast majority of legacy media outlets went all out to dismiss any ideas of election fraud affecting the outcome of the Biden-Trump matchup.
