Sunlight and clouds, not CO2, responsible for planetary climate changes

Ned Nikolov, a physical researcher and scientist affiliated with Colorado State University, is speaking out about the false claims of the United Nations (UN) Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) concerning the agency's claims that carbon dioxide (CO2) is destroying the planet.

On August 14, President Biden released a National Heat Strategy for 2024-2030 report in which the IPCC's propaganda against CO2 is prolific. Nikolov wants the world to know that both Biden and the IPCC are "completely wrong" in their assessment of what factors impact the climate.

"The greenhouse theory claims that atmospheric composition is important," he said. "They are arguing that tiny increases of the carbon dioxide in the atmosphere cause global warming and that we must stop burning fossil fuel to avoid dangerous climate change. This is completely wrong."

The co-chair of the IPCC Working Group I, by the way, is a Chinese climatologist by the name of Panmao Zhai who is aggressively pushing anti-CO2 propaganda on the world.

"Stabilizing the climate will require strong, rapid, and sustained reductions in greenhouse gas emissions, and reaching net-zero CO2 emissions," Comrade Panmao is quoted as saying.

CO2 isn't the problem

On August 20 of this year, Nikolov and retired U.S. Forest Service meteorologist Karl Zeller published a study warning that the recent rise in global temperatures is not the result of rising CO2 levels like Comrades Panmao and Biden claim.

Nikolov and Zeller analyzed satellite data to come to the conclusion that the most obvious explanation for recent record-high temperature reports is reduced global cloud cover that is causing the planet to absorb more sunlight.

This is not necessarily a bad thing, of course, as the climate is always changing. Every moment of every day, the climate normally fluctuates, but there is a contingent of climate fanatics who feel as though the climate should always stay the same, or something.

Earth's atmosphere was designed to constantly work towards an "energy budget" balance, according to NASA. When shortwave radiation from the sun hits the earth, the energy bounces back into space as thermal radiation.

Any disruptions to this balance can cause temperature fluctuations, which is perfectly normal, but the climate cult is easily triggered by temperature changes to the point that many of its members now suffer from climate anxiety.

In its Sixth Assessment Report, the IPCC claims that increased CO2 concentration in the atmosphere, supposedly caused by "greenhouse gas emissions," is causing the earth's energy budget to fall out of balance. More thermal energy is being trapped than released, which is causing warmer temperatures both for air and ocean waters.

"Multi-decadal variation in anthropogenic [human-caused] aerosol emissions are thought to be a major contributor (medium confidence), but multi-decadal variability in cloudiness may also have played a role," the report states.

While the IPCC does admit that "cloudiness" does play a role in "dimming" or "brightening" sunlight, the UN group refuses to accept the fact that CO2 has absolutely nothing to do with this.

"The origin of these trends is not fully understood," the report claims, playing the ignorance card.

Nikolov and Zeller are challenging the IPCC head on using scientific data that the IPCC refuses to accept. The truth remains that clouds play the most direct role in regulating the sun's energy budget – or as Nikolov puts it, the effects of cloudiness on the climate are "measurable and significant."

"Cloud formation is partially controlled by cosmic forces. When clouds decrease, the planetary albedo drops and more radiation reaches the surface, causing warmer temperatures," he further says.
