 “Back to the Future” star Lea Thompson scolded white women in the wake of a recent Pew poll that showed them favoring former President Donald Trump over Vice President Kamala Harris.

Thompson referenced the oft-repeated Democrat complaint that white women had been the primary drivers behind Trump’s 2016 victory over former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and begged them not to make 2024 a repeat of that.

“Please please white women. Don’t do this again. Remember our grandmothers couldn’t vote. We couldn’t own land. Get a credit card. Birth control. We have already lost rights. It will not stop,” she pleaded.

Critics weren’t buying Thompson’s claims, however, and they took to X to suggest that if the past truly was prologue, her future predictions were a little off the mark.

“Right? The last time Trump was president I had to stop voting, give up my land, they cut up my credit card, and took my birth control. Totally,” Twitchy’s @PolitiBunny posted.

“My grandmother was the first in her farming family to go to college. She then got her masters while teaching during the day and raising four children. All in the 50s & 60s. I think we’ll be just fine under Trump,” author Allie Beth Stuckey added.

“Please, please white women. Do this. We can’t own land under Kamala because prices are too high. We are maxing out credit cards because inflation hit historic highs under #kamala. Women are dying from birth control Democrats said they want to control our first amendment (sic) right,” The Federalist’s Brianna Lyman said.

“That’s exactly what happened the last time he was President. I remember,” journalist Bethany Mandel posted.

“Please white women don’t use your freedom of choice to support any candidate you feel is best for you! What a crock of s***!” X user Bryce Lipscomb remarked.

“How freaking old are you that your grandmother couldn’t vote? The 19th amendment was certified in 1920,” another posted.
