Republicans are planning to focus on Vice President Kamala Harris’ Tuesday comments on “The View” in an ad blitz that will run up until Election Day, Axios reported.

Harris was blasted after telling “The View” hosts “nothing comes to mind” when asked if she would have done anything differently than President Joe Biden.

“Well, obviously, we’re two different people, and we have a lot of shared life experiences, for example, the way we feel about our family and our parents and so on,” Harris said. “But we’re also different people and I will bring those sensibilities to how I lead.”

Harris added that she has “been a part of most of the decisions that have had impact.”

An unnamed ally of former President Donald Trump reportedly told Axios on Wednesday that voters should “[e]xpect to see this clip every single time you turn on the television between now and Nov. 5.” Harris’ campaign slogan is “A New Way Forward,” but she has doubled down on supporting the policies pursued by the Biden-Harris administration for nearly four years.

The Trump campaign has already circulated the clip of Harris on X and highlighted comments made on CNN by Wall Street Journal Senior Political Correspondent Molly Ball, who blasted Harris.

“I’m surprised frankly that she doesn’t have more to say about this given that she and her campaign know this is one of the main questions voters have about her,” Ball said. “And one of the main things she’s been trying to establish as part of her candidacy is that she would represent a break from the past four years.”

Harris was also widely criticized after her interview with “60 Minutes” that aired on Monday. During the interview, Harris was pressed multiple times after dodging questions, including on the Biden-Harris administration’s immigration policies. The vice president was slammed over the interview even after it appeared that CBS News edited the discussion in Harris’ favor.

“I got to watch last night, ’60 Minutes,’” Trump told Daily Wire Editor Emeritus Shapiro on Tuesday. “And she answers questions like a child. This is not a president.”

“Every time she does an interview, she sounds like a child,” he added. “She sounds like a person with a very low IQ, you know?”
