Trump-hating Former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe accidentally endorsed Kash Patel for FBI Director in a CNN appearance Saturday night, saying his nomination is “terrible” for those who are currently at the Bureau.
Kash Patel’s nomination to lead the FBI. President Trump announced Patel’s nomination Saturday evening in a Truth Social post, saying, “This FBI will end the growing crime epidemic in America, dismantle the migrant criminal gangs, and stop the evil scourge of human and drug trafficking across the Border.”
In his leftist media rant aimed at discrediting Patel, McCabe said the nomination "can only possibly be a plan to disrupt, to dismantle, to distract the FBI and to possibly use it as a tool for The President's political agenda."
Here is a recap of current FBI Director Chris Wray’s storied career:
- Setting up innocent men in fake kidnapping plots
- Spying on Catholics at church
- Raiding the homes of peaceful pro-life activists and terrorizing J6 protesters
- Raiding the home of the former US President on junk charges and allowing agents to sift through Melania Trump’s underwear drawer
- Hid evidence that would have exonerated President Trump in his first bogus impeachment
- Doctoring evidence during the raid at President Trump’s home
- Targeting parents at school board meetings
- Hid evidence from the public on crackhead Hunter Biden’s laptop in the runup of the 2020 election
The FBI needs some disruption and dismantling of its current operations. If doing so is considered using the FBI as a tool for a political agenda, then Trump's agenda can truly be described as 'America First.'
McCabe claims that Trump and Kash Patel will take the FBI back to the pre-Watergate era and "utilize the legal authorities, the investigative authorities of the FBI, to terrorize and intimidate Americans." Forget about the peaceful January 6 protestors and pro-lifers, Catholics, concerned parents, and the Trump family, who were all targeted and intimidated by Biden's FBI.
In fact, McCabe himself previously complained that Joe Biden had not gone far enough in threatening Trump supporters, who he described as “a clear and present danger to our democracy.”
He further stated that Patel is "profoundly unqualified" for the position that Chris Wray was apparently great for while ignoring Patel's impressive qualifications, including several high-ranking positions in the intelligence and defense communities under President Trump.
When Patel was running counter-terrorism for President Trump, the president oriented efforts to wipe out ISIS senior leadership and other key operatives. Patel further oversaw the rescuing of American hostages and detainees to return them to the United States.
As a terrorism prosecutor, Patel prosecuted ISIS, Al-Qa’ida, and other terrorist networks, and he was the lead prosecutor for the World Cup bombings in Uganda that killed an American and 76 people. While Patel served as Department of Defense Chief of Staff, they ended forever wars.
What McCabe is really afraid of is that Patel will restore the law enforcement organization to its true purpose of investigating and prosecuting real criminals and criminal organizations, putting an end to the weaponization of the FBI to target innocent Americans.
It can be recalled that Trump-hater McCabe previously said some FBI agents would need to flee the country in order to avoid being detained, The Gateway Pundit reported.
WATCH:
McCabe: It's a terrible development for the men and women of the FBI and also for the nation that depends on a highly functioning, professional, independent Federal Bureau of Investigation. The fact that Kash Patel is profoundly unqualified for this job is not even like a matter for debate. So, I think what we should really be thinking about right now is, what does this signal in terms of Donald Trump's intent for the FBI? The installation or the nomination, I guess we should say at this point, of Kash Patel as FBI director can only possibly be a plan to disrupt, to dismantle, to distract the FBI and to possibly use it as a tool for The President's political agenda.
And, you know, as an organization, we know what that looks like. This country has been there before, right? The pre-Watergate, FBI, the J. Edgar Hoover FBI struck fear in the hearts of Americans across the spectrum, of politicians, people in entertainment, people in the civil rights community, because the director operated at the direction of presidents to collect political intelligence and to utilize the legal authorities, the investigative authorities of the FBI, to terrorize and intimidate Americans. So, the question is, is that where we're going back to with this nomination? I would argue that Kash Patel, would be the perfect person for Donald Trump to nominate if that’s, in fact, his intent for the FBI.
